Ms. Ana María Hernández Martí holds a B.A. in French from New York University, in 2004. She finished her M.A in Translation in 2009 while she was still studying for her J.D., which she finished in 2010. Both her M.A and J.D are from the University of Puerto Rico. During the summer of 2006 she worked as a Summer Law Clerk for Hon. Magistrate Judge Camille Vélez-Rivé. From 2005 until 2010, she worked as a Law Clerk for various attorneys. She is admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico since 2011. In 2008, Ms. Hernández Martí co-founded a Pro Bono Project, National Organization of Animal Rights (ONDA) within the Pro Bono Program of the School of Law of the University of Puerto Rico. The project provides legal education and assistance in the field of animal law to all members of the community, including lawyers and different public organizations. Ms. Hernández is now the Mentor of this project. Her practice encompasses general civil litigation with an extensive legal experience in the litigation of medical malpractice cases and general torts. Ms. Ana María Hernández Martí is also Civil Law Notary in Puerto Rico.
