Anabelle Quiñones Rodríguez holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez Campus and a J.D. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico since 2002 and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and also in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit since the year 2003. Prior legal experience includes both private practice and also working for five (5) years as an attorney for the Department of Justice for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Her practice encompasses general litigation both in the state courts and in the federal court. Working with the Department of Justice she acquired extensive experience in the litigation of civil rights cases as well as employment law cases and general torts. Additional experience includes project management for environmental projects working as a Graduate Engineer and as an Environmental Specialist with the Solid Waste Management Authority for six (6) years.
In the last seven years her practice has been concentrated in litigating civil cases before the USDC for the District of Puerto Rico as counsel on the defendants’ side where she has appeared as lead counsel on over ten (10) trials (jury and bench). anabelle@castlawfirm.com
